Bat Masterson's .45 Caliber, Single Action Custom Revolver, #CA803
This non-firing, .45 Single Action is an exacting reproduction of the revolver that was that was custom made for U.S. Marshal Bat Masterson in 1885. It was designed to his specific personal tastes and abilities to maximize his ability to survive a gunfight.
It is accurate in every detail, including the gunsmith’s mark (a numeral “1” on the loading gate), and detailed crosshatching on the hammer spur. The front sight was made a little higher and thicker than those on stock pistols of this kind. The detailing of this replica is exact, right down to a claw-shaped scratch on the side plate. Cock the hammer with your thumb and hear the positive click of the precisely machined ratchet advancing the cylinder. Squeeze the trigger and experience the unusually quick acting hammer and release, honed to the Marshal's preference.
