17th Century civilians' and officers' pistols typically had lavish ornamentation and large, rounded butt ends that served both as weight for balance and, in a pinch, an emergency club. The long barrel provided relatively good accuracy, for guns of the time. Our non-firing replica features a detailed, helmeted head as the butt cap. Choose from a brass barrel and ornamentation with an iron-gray lockplate and lock, or a black barrel, lock and lockplate with gold-tone ornamentation.
