American Civil War Boxed Sets
John Wilkes Boothe Boothe Derringer Boxed Set - #27-378
A ball from a single-shot derringer like this replica altered the course of American history when it was used by John Wilkes Boothe to assassinate President Abraham Lincoln.  The gun Booth used was known as a "Baby Philadelphia" Derringer, a single shot, percussion cap pocket pistol originally designed in 1850. Our non-firing replica of the derringer comes in a wooden presentation box with a history card.

On Good Friday, April 14, 1865, John Wilkes Boothe, a Confederate sympathizer, shot and killed President Abraham Lincoln, as he watched a production of "Our American Cousin" at Fordís Theater in Washington D.C.  Boothe escaped Fordís Theater badly injured and was killed by federal soldiers on April 26, 1865.
John Wilkes Boothe Derringer - authentic replica of the Baby Philadelphia derringer that killed Lincoln in a wood presentation box with history card in the lid.
