Napoleon's personal flintlock pistol was made in 1806 by Jean-Baptiste Gribeauval of St. Etienne, Napoleon's personal gunsmith. The original is preserved in a French museum. History records that Napoleon carried it in his overcoat as a traveling pistol. His insignia is prominently displayed on the grip and the gunmaking talents of Gribeauval are readily apparent in the workmanship. This authentic, non-firing replica is accurately detailed down to the St. Etienne mark. 13.5" long.
