According to legend, author Ned Buntline commissioned four M1973 revolvers with 12-inch barrels (17.5 inches long overall), and presented one of them to Wyatt Earp. The iconic “Buntline Special” has since been immortalized in print, movies and on TV. Our authentic replicas are available in several finishes, and can fire caps, using the set of 6 dummy shells and stick-on caps shown below.

"Dummy" Bullets and Caps for Cap-Gun Replicas
To fire caps, load your replica revolver with these "dummy" bullets, and insert a cap "dot" into the indentation on the bottom of the bullet, then cock the hammer and pull the trigger to "fire."
Manufactured in Spain to work best with our Gonher cap pistol replicas. Loudness similar to a hand-clap. 24 caps included. #22-49.

I'm in love with this gun. I purchased two to complete my Wyatt Earp costume. My initial impression was that these guns look and feel authentic. The weight and material in which they are made far exceed my expectations. The guns were polished with some type of oil and it even smells real. Shoot, the caliber is amazing, I'm really blown away...no pun intended.
