This is a classic replica of the Thompson submachine 'Tommy Gun' made famous by prohibition gangsters in the 'Roaring Twenties'. This Commerical Model features a 50-round removable drum and pistol foregrip, just like Capone's soldiers would have used. The bolt cocks and releases with a pull of the trigger. The military version of this model (our item No. 22-1093), was later made famous by troops of the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions in World War II. This is the most recognizable firearm in U.S. History, and after several years out of production, this replica was re-released due to popular demand.
