Nicholas Boutet was a French gunsmith who made ornate pistols decorated with precious metals and hand-carved grips of exotic woods. He made pistols for Napoleon and other high-ranking officials, as well as designs for the army. Our Versailles replica is made in the style of Boutet with historically authentic details. Matched pairs of original flintlock dueling pistols sell for many thousands of dollars.
