Napoleon's Double-Barrel Flintlock
The original of this side-by-side double-barreled flintlock pistol replica is from Napoleon's private armory. It bears his insignia on both sides of the grip. Made by Gribeauval, Napoleon's personal gunmaker, the pistol originated in the French gunmaking center of St. Etienne in 1806. Our faithful, non-firing reproduction makes a welcome gift for Napoleonic fanciers and reenactors!
The original of this pistol (which is preserved in a French museum) was carried by Napoleon when traveling. It was made in 1806 by his personal gunsmith, Jean-Baptiste Gribeauval of St. Etienne. The emperor's insignia is prominently displayed on the grip.
